Have you been overcome by unseasonably lovely weather?
I have - WOW! The last two days have been warmish and sunny. A combination that elicits outside play until the sun dips below the horizon and happy ice cream screams.
I hear those ice cream screams and raise the stakes by adding cream and malt.
Ha! Beat that!
Here's our recipe:
Chocolate Malt Milkshake
(makes 2 servings)
3/4 - 1 C heavy cream
1/2 - 3/4 C crushed malt balls (I used Whoppers candy)
sweetened 3 C chocolate ice cream
extra malt balls for garnish
To start, place your heavy cream and crushed malt balls into the container of your blender. Blend mixture until no large chunks of malt ball remain. Add your ice cream and blend until your desired milkshake consistency is achieved. Pour into a glass and garnish with fresh sweetened whipped cream and extra malt balls. Enjoy!
