Here's the recipe:
Boozy Banana Bread
(adapted from Smitten Kitchen…)
4 ripe bananas, mashed
1/3 C melted butter
3/4 C brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 t vanilla
1 T bourbon
1 t baking soda
1/4 t salt
1 t cinnamon
1/4-1/2 t groung nutmeg
pinch of ground cloves
1 1/2 C flour
3/4 C chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350℉. Grease a loaf pan (mine was 4.5x8.5) generously.
In a large bowl, mix together your bananas and butter. Add in your sugar, egg, vanilla, bourbon, and baking soda. Next come your spices - add them in! Your flour and walnuts come last. Stir them in and then pour your batter into your loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a tester comes out clean (ovens bake differently - your bread may bake longer or shorter, depending on the size of your loaf pan and your oven). Cool and serve!
Enjoy!
This looks awsome!
